Melissa Lücking is an interdisciplinary Designer and Art Director based in Berlin. Developing communication concepts for visual strategies, she creates visual languages for brands, exhibitions or institutions.
After her studies in Visual Communication at the Berlin University of the Arts she worked as graphic designer for various institutions, brands, artists and studios such as Fons Hickmann m23 (2017–2019). With her Masters in space-related and Exhibition Design she added a spatial approach to her practice that is generally informed by contemporary cultural and social discourses. After developing brand campaigns and retail designs as corporate designer for MYKITA (2019–2021), worked as project managing exhibition graphic designer at chezweitz (2021–2023).
Since then she has been working as an freelance Designer and Art Director.
She is one of the founders of soft power an collaborative project space dedicated to developing constructive, oppositional, and fluid discourses in Berlin Tempelhof. Here she realizes projects in the sphere of art, music and culture connecting her expertise in project management and diverse fields of design.
